Nicki Minaj and Megan Thee Stallion’s rap beef explained: From diss tracks to ‘Big Foot’ single

Rap’s It Girls are at each other’s throats.

Nicki Minaj‘s “Big Foot” — an apparent response or “diss track” in retaliation to Megan Thee Stallion‘s recently released single titled “Hiss” — set the internet ablaze on Monday for its raunchy quips and references to Megan’s life and career.

The drama between the pair of hitmakers hit its boiling point over the weekend after “Hiss” got its debut on Jan. 25. Megan’s song touched on various aspects of her tumultuous life as a public figure but it was one line in particular that caught the attention of Minaj: “These hoes don’t be mad at Megan, these hoes mad at Megan’s Law,” Megan raps fervently on “Hiss.” “I don’t really know what the problem is, but I guarantee y’all don’t want me to start.”
